Really! Animals see the pictures in our heads and
feel our feelings and see the truth of the matter. We have already acknowledged
that they are wonderful companions, family members, cheerleaders, and the best
of listeners, hence... When we start to realize that they have something to say about their relationship to us, or our relationship to others, the environment, and the world, through many insightful and often funny observations, we then open a whole new world of knowledge as we experience the joy of seeing the world through their eyes. For the most part, animals have very little ego and live in the moment. They have mastered the art of being. As humans, it is hard for us to learn to be in the present moment. Unlike animals, we have bills to pay, houses to up-keep and usually some sort of work. Animals teach us first to be present and to be, I mean really be with them and in everything else in our lives. By this, I mean both good and perceived bad situations. It's no wonder we have seen so many organizations popping up all over to heal people with animals. There are programs with everything from taking dogs to retirement homes to people getting into round pens with horses to have their feelings mirrored back at them. The next step is to exchange the energy with the animals. Then they have the opportunity not only to be companions, but also our helpers to unclutter and clear our understanding of life to become more balanced with the universe. There are no accidents in the universe and you have drawn your animals into your life consciously or unconsciously to learn. So, now that you know that your dog, cat, horse or what other pet you have is with you to help make your life better, how much more do you really want to know?
